Pricing FAQ
When you reach the 500 API calls/month limit on the free tier, subsequent API requests will return a 429 (rate limited) response until the next billing cycle. You can upgrade to the Builder plan at any time to increase your limit to 10,000 calls/month. Your existing keys and scan history are preserved when upgrading.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade between plans at any time from your dashboard. When upgrading, the new plan takes effect immediately and you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing cycle. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Each request to the QuantumSafe API counts as one API call, including key generation, signature creation, signature verification, wallet scans, and batch operations. Batch scans count as one API call per wallet scanned. Dashboard access and API key management do not count toward your quota.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page in your dashboard. After cancellation, you retain access to your paid plan features until the end of the current billing period, then your account reverts to the free tier. Your keys and data are preserved.
The Enterprise plan (coming soon) includes everything in Pro plus unlimited API calls, Safe Guard (real-time quantum threat monitoring), 99.5% SLA, Migration Planner for large-scale ECDSA-to-PQC transitions, custom rate limits, and dedicated support. Contact enterprise@quantumsafe.io for early access.
BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) means you generate and manage your own private keys locally — the QuantumSafe server never sees them. KMS (Key Management Service) managed signing, available on the Builder plan and above, uses AWS HSM (Hardware Security Module) to securely store and sign with your keys in a FIPS 140-2 validated environment, providing enterprise-grade key management without handling keys yourself.
